A former New Orleans police officer has pleaded guilty to violating the civil rights of a teenage rape victim whom he molested in 2020.

Rodney Vicknair, 55, admitted in federal court on Nov. 16 that he deprived the girl of her right to bodily integrity while acting under color of law as a police officer. Prosecutors said he touched the victim's genitals without her consent.
