Texas Coalition Of Organizations

The Texas Coalition of Organizations (SCSA, SNAP, Surviving Scouting and ChildUSAdvocacy) and along with other survivors of childhood sex abuse, held a press conference on the steps of the Texas state capitol building on February 15th, 2023, in support of Texas House Bill 206, which will eliminate the Statute of Limitations for sex crimes against against innocent children.

The Texas coalition of organizations are supporting House Bills 206 (Representative Ann Johnson, Author) and Senate Bill 751 (Senator Pete Flores). Senate Bill 751 is identical to House Bill 206, and was filed in support of House Bill 206 by Senator Pete Flores. SCSA and ChildUSAdvocacy is also supporting Representative Gene Wu's House Bill 505, which makes it a crime to interfere with an investigation of child sex abuse, such as destroying evidence (notes, photos, documentation, etc.), and also makes it a crime to interfere with a child reporting their sex abuse.

If you are a victim or survivor of childhood sex abuse, please take a moment to fill out this form to support these VERY important bills and so YOUR VOICE can be heard.
